Tis the Season
This is our first ever CYBER MONDAY SALE! We figured since everyone is going crazy buying Christmas presents that you should look GOOD while you shop.

Adding more tech to my heck
I may be busy, but I'm not too busy that I can't add a bunch of fun new features to my life and ministries. If you don't follow me on twitter, do it now HERE. But recently the church has joined the web-earth HERE. (Man I just typed web-earth as an internet synonym and I really like that term...I'm adopting it as my new favorite word/hyphened word.) It is great for getting text alerts about time sensitive announcements and updates. So I just started a Pine Street High twitter so that all my youth can get text updates on what is going on with us. Maybe now they will actually remember to bring permission slips and to SHOW UP.I'll let you know if its a roaring success or not.

My static
Do you ever get those moments where you feel overwhelmed and then you start to see the physical factors playing into it? As I was sitting at my desk panicking through three email accounts trying to find a receipt/invoice for my 2 month late credit card report I stumbled across an email from a friend that was sent weeks ago. So I read it and it gave me a huge sense of peace. Peace about things in my life both connected to my friend, and with things completely unrelated. That was when I noticed I hadn't connected with God yet today because of my busyness. Then for the first time all morning I noticed my big nasty speaker was putting out a very loud static noise that I hadn't even noticed until I calmed down and took a breathe. When I shut off the speaker there were still other noises, but they were much softer and I immediately felt more relieved.
It made me think of this video I saw a few weeks back. How quickly we can get distracted and then accept that as the only option, we forget what life is like with no static.
